Hayley & Steve chose a beautifully crisp, winter’s day in December last year to get married. There is something about a Winter wedding which adds to the magical feel of an already spectacular celebration!
My couple approached me with a vision for their floristry – delicate, soft colours with the added sparkle of fairy lights where fitting. This excited me as I know how many stunning flowers are in season in the winter months and I knew exactly how to fulfil their wishes. I first showed them some examples of flowers and they decided on which flowers they would like to be included.
Their wedding was being held in a picturesque barn located in Essex and their wedding theme was ‘rustic & romantic’. Due to this, we decided to incorporate some greenery into the hand-tied bridal bouquet, centrepieces and table displays to portray the rustic element. For the romance, we included several astrantia. The bridesmaids had simple but effective gypsophila which looked graceful against the backdrop of their rose gold, sparkly dresses.
Hayleys bridal bouquet was a loose hand tied bouquet with a ‘just picked from the garden’ look composed of beautiful blush pink Roses, sweet scented ivory Freesia, delicate white Gypsophila, light and airy Astrantia and vintage pink Wax flower complemented by two varieties Eucalyptus. We added a diamante pin to the centre of some of the Roses adding extra detail to the design.
“Debbie was our florist for our Wedding and we could not have been happier with the results! Debbie is so passionate about her job so I knew instantly on meeting her I could trust and rely on her for our day. She took away any stress or worry I had. I couldn’t have asked for more, the arrangement turned out stunning, everyone complimented them on how wonderful they looked! I have since recommended Debbie to 2 family members for their Weddings and they have also been so happy with their experience and would highly recommend her too! Thanks again Debbie!”
